A wonderful BITESIZE stage adaptation of Robert Browning's classic narrative poem.
The town of Hamelin is a very pleasant place to live but it does have one BIG
problem. RATS ! They fought the dogs and killed the cats, made nests inside men's
Sunday hats, and even spoiled the women's chats, by drowning their speaking, with
shrieking and squeaking, in fifty different sharps and flats. They're everywhere and
the local Ratcatcher has tried everything he can think of. Lucky for the villagers, the
Pied Piper has come to town to deal with the vermin..... But when the greedy Mayor
refuses to pay him, the Piper exacts his revenge. A company of five with full set,
costumes, lights & sound; bring you this epic tale full of fun, laughter and
enjoyment for all ages and lots of opportunities for follow-up class work. |
