after the Bloody Captain has reported on Macbeth and Banquo's heroic deeds in the battle with the Norwegian invaders to King Duncan.

Macbeth and Banquo meet the 3 witches and here there predictions.......
The first comes true when Macbeth is made Thane of Cawdor.

Macbeth writes to his wife, who is inflamed by prospect of being Queen and convinces her husband to kill Duncan and Macbeth becomes the new King.

But the killing doesn't stop. Macbeth hires two murderer's to kill Banquo and at the banquet later that night, Macbeth is haunted by his friend's Ghost.

Macbeth returns to the 3 witches and is told to beware Macduff.

In the final battle, Macbeth kills the Young Seward, but in the end is defeated by his nemesis, Macduff
