A little old lady arrives and asks if she can stay and watch the show. Sleeping Beauty is her favourite. She looks a little familiar.

A little old lady arrives in the school She's on her way to visit her family for Xmas

She starts to tell the children about her life She was famous once She was that same Fairy Lilac that saved the Sleeping Beauty

She perches on her suitcase and tells the audience that she is a Fairy, in fact, she is the same Fairy Lilac that saved the original Sleeping Beauty. She offers to tell the children her story, but then decides it would be better to show them. She takes out her magic wand and transport the whole audience back to the beginning of the story.

She takes the audience back in time to the beginning of the story

We arrive in a One Upon A Time land, not so very long ago. Where the King and Queen are expecting a baby.

The Queen is expecting The King is in a state Mr. Johnson tries to help

Fairy Lilac arrives and she has transformed into the young Fairy she was at the beginning of the story.

Mr. Johnson ! the House maids Fairy Lilac arrives transformed into the youngest of the fairies

The baby will be called Aurora.

Fairy Lilac next takes us up over the rainbow to Fairyland, where we meet the other Fairies. First we meet Fairy GREEN; who cares for all living things {her wand has a Sunflower} & Fairy BLUE; the fairy of dreams and the oceans {her wand has a blue cloud and a crystal ball}. Then there is Fairy SNOW; who stands for purity and winter {her wand has a snowflake} and Fairy SCARLET; who's remit is Love {her wand has a Heart}. All the Fairies are named after colours.

Fairyland Fairy Green and Fairy Blue Fairy Green cares for the environment Lots of Fairies all named after colours Fairy Green Fairyland is at the other end of the Rainbow Fairy Snow The Fairies try to decide waht to give the baby Princess Fairy Snow will give her purity Fairy Blue is a little dreamy Fairy Scarlet and Fairy Snow the Fairies

They have all been invited to the Christening of the new baby princess and they discuss what gifts they will each give her. But Lilac is having trouble thinking of a suitable gift. Soon their minds turn to the marriage of the King and Queen when they were all invited except Fairy Dredd. At the merest mention of her name she arrives. Fairy Dredd is the most powerful and as her name suggests the most dreaded Fairy. She is dressed in black and her wand has a skull, she holds dominion over the night and death. She is not pleased at not being invited to the Christening, but still she has a gift for Aurora. Her gift is a curse; that on her 16th Birthday Aurora will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die.

Fairy Dredd arrives Fairy Dredd is upset that she hasn't been invited to the christening She curses the baby Princess She will die on her 16th birthday

Fairy Lilac returns to the Castle to comfort the King and Queen, but they are interrupted by the arrival of Fairy Dredd, who makes sure that no one is in any doubt that she intends to carry out the cure on Aurora.

Fairy Lilac goes to help the Royal Family Fairy Dredd arrivers to gloat and terrify. The King and Queen are left in no doubt and neither are the audience Are you listening ? Fairy Dredd is the bad Fairy

The King decides that the only way to stop her is to have all of the Spinning Wheels in the land destroyed.

Get rid of all the spinning wheels, Mr. Johnson What, on my own ?No! Get the Gardeners to help.

The task is given to Mr. Johnson and his team of Gardeners. Black and Decker and Fly and Mo.

Black & Decker, Fly and Mo are the Gardeners But they aren't sure what a Spinning Wheel looks likeThe need the audience to help Put the jigsaw together to make the pictureThe audience are better than the GardenersThere we areWaht kind of wheel was it we were looking for ?This isn't a Spinning Wheel !No! A Spinning Wheel not a wheel that spins



16 years later, Fairy Lilac is still watching over the PrincessShe calls the rest of the Fairies on the eve of Aurora's 16th BirthdayEven Fairy Green had forgotten.In fact all of the other Fairies have forgottenBut Fairy Dredd hadn'tWhat can we do ? What can we do?

What we need is a Plan 'B'Like a Handsome PrincePrince StephanThey meet and fall in loveHe's so charmingShe's so beautifulHe can take her away from all thisLove is a many spendered thingBut will they live happily ever after ? What about Fairy Dredd's curse.

Mr. Johnson knows the Gardeners are up to some mischief, but what ?Princess Aurora is to hide in a cottage in the forest

The Gardeners are to take her there.

But the wood is scary and dark.Let's sing to cheer ourselves up The Sausage Song
