They are performing at the Adrian Boult Hall on Tuesday 8th July
FOUR BITESIZE CHILDREN have just finished a successful run in SOUTH PACIFIC
at the Rhyl Pavilion, with Dave Willetts and Helena Blackman

Winner of nine Tony awards, including Best Musical, and the Pulitzer Prize, Rodgers & Hammerstein's most celebrated musical masterpiece,
South Pacific, is revived in a brand new production for an extensive nationwide tour, starring musical theatre stalwart Dave Willetts (Phantom of the
Opera, Les Miserables and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers) and Helena Blackman, runner-up in BBC1's How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?.
Helena plays Nellie Forbush, a naïve Navy nurse from Little Rock, Arkansas, who falls in love with middle-aged French plantation owner, Emile de
Becque (Dave Willetts), during her wartime posting to a Pacific island. However, she soon discovers secrets in his past that she finds difficult to
come to terms with. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Joe Cable is caught in a similar dilemma as he grows increasingly fond of Liat, daughter of the Asian
peddler Bloody Mary. Only time will tell how these two enchantingly heartfelt love stories unfold.
With a score as breathtaking as its tropical setting, this sumptuous production features a host of classic songs including Some Enchanted
Evening, Younger Than Springtime, There is Nothing Like a Dame, Bali Ha'i and I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair. Dave Willetts has
previously headlined Seven Brides for Seven Brothers both on tour and at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in the West End for UK Productions as
well as the recent tour of 42nd Street. Helena Blackman will tour for the first time in South Pacific.
Produced by Peter Frosdick and Martin Dodd for UK Productions, South Pacific is directed by Julian Woolford, with choreography by Chris
Hocking and Musical Supervision by Gareth Williams. Set Design is by Charles Camm, with costumes by Elizabeth Dennis, lighting design by
David Howe and sound design by Ross Portway and Jon Higson.
BITESIZE YOUTH THEATRE have also been asked to provide children
for Hello Dolly and Fiddler on the Roof at the Liverpool Empire

Dolly's back after 20 years! Set off on a whirlwind race around New York at the turn of the twentieth century, as we follow the adventures of
America's most beloved matchmaker!
Starring Anita Dobson as the irresistible Dolly Levi, and Darren Day as Cornelius Hackl, Hello, Dolly! is full of memorable songs including Put On
Your Sunday Clothes, Hello, Dolly!, It Only Takes a Moment and So Long, Dearie. Hello, Dolly! stormed Broadway and the West End -
now it's back with a company of over forty performers and a live orchestra, Hello, Dolly!
is the show-stopping 'perfect match' for every musical fan!
VETERAN star of stage and screen Joe McGann stars in Fiddler On The Roof, which runs at Liverpool's Empire Theatre.
McGann, whose most famous role was as Charlie in early 90s comedy series The Upper Hand, stars as Jewish milkman and father of five Tevye,
who struggles to uphold both family and religious traditions in Russia.
The show is packed with all the best-loved songs including Matchmaker, Matchmaker, Sunrise, Sunset and If I Were A Rich Man.
The show has won nine Tony awards and is one of the longest running shows ever to have played on Broadway.
Performance Space gets a name.
The Youth Theatre performance space is to be called The Groundlings Theatre.
